Rose Lightfoot - CEO
Rose Lightfoot Rose has over thirty years' experience in the health sector. This includes clinicalnursing in both primary and secondary health care settings, sixteen years inundergraduate and postgraduate education, with four years at the Goodfellow Unit Department of General Practice. She is an Honorary Lecturer with the Division of Nursing Auckland University. 
Rose has an active interest in Public Health, preventive health care and cultural issues in health care provision.  Prior to becoming General Manager of Te Tai Tokerau PHO she worked as Clinical Advisor with First Health Ltd, a general practice Management Support Organisation, and was involved with the Northland GP network in the early transition to PHO establishment.

Maureen Allan - Nursing Integration Leader in Primary Health
Maureen AllanMaureen is a registered nurse with Master of Nursing and a post graduate degree in business in Maori development.

She has worked as a nurse in the Far North for 20 years starting as an enrolled nurse and registered nurse at Kaitaia hospital.  Her primary health experience started as a public health nurse, inaugural clinical manager / manager for Te Hauora O Te Hiku O Te Ika followed by disease state management nurse for Whakawhiti Ora Pai and now in her present position of nursing Integration leader in primary health for Te Tai Tokerau PHO.  She is a committee member for Whakawhiti Ora Pai and the Northland NDHB Hospital Advisory Committee and sits on Nursing Council Maori advisory panel and Nursing Council professional conduct committee.

The key purpose of her nursing integration role is to facilitate the co-ordination and integration of effective, efficient and appropriate primary health care nursing services that are based upon Treaty partnerships, and that are relevant to the identified health needs of the population.  She works across several PHO in Northland.

Marilyn BrayMarilyn (Lyn) Bray - Imuunisation Outreach
Co ordinator / Vaccinator

Lyn manages the Outreach Immunisation Programme aimed at improving the numbers of children between 0-5 years, with a goal to complete immunisations with scheduled vaccinations.  She is an accredited independent vaccinator and is therefore able to provide alternative settings for immunisation, to improve access to health care and reconnect families into regular care. Lyn also provides support, training and supervision to nurses working in primary health care settings.
Lyn is a very experienced nurse who has had significant experience in both hospital and primary care settings.

Annie ThomasAnnie Thomas - Clinical Projects Facilitator
Annie Thomas is a registered nurse with a post grad certificate in Mental health nursing. She has had varied work experience, but has mostly been a practice nurse in a small G.P practice in Auckland. Annie’s role is as Clinical Projects facilitator working to support general practices across the PHO, in particular with the Care Plus Programme. Annie believes strongly in the Care Plus initiative and its worth in improving patients self management and lifestyle and she is aiming to increase the numbers of clients enrolled in Care Plus at all practices and establish within the practices as much enthusiasm as she has!

David GillespieDavid Gillespie - IT Manager
David has been with the PHO since late December 2006. He is our IT Manager and is responsible for the setting up and smooth functioning of all health related computer programs within Te Tai Tokerau PHO.
This scope covers health providers from Whakawhiti ora pai (Te Kao) through to Hauora Whanui (Kawakawa). Davids initial training is in Forensic Pathology, but has been working with IT for the past 3 years. His background is in database and web design, and has experience in small network implementation.

Lorna Smeath - Whanau Ora Clinical Projects Coordinator Lorna Smeath
Lorna has a Masters in Nursing, Post Graduate Diploma in Disease State Management, is a Registered Nurse specialising in Chronic Care, has experience in Rural Nursing, Primary Health Nursing, Locum Practice Nursing, Non Medical smear taking. The aim of her role is to be envolved in the wider community with the purpose of promoting the aims and objectives of the Tai Tokerau PHO.

Tania Knight- Administration Support Tania Knight
Tania joined our team in August 2008 as Administrator support, having previously worked for a local GP Practice for 9 years, starting out as a receptionist and then as Practice Manager for 8 ½ years.
Tania has a vast knowledge of the Medtech software used by the local General Practices, Immunistation Outreach services, & Mental Health services within the Te Tai Tokerau PHO.
Her role as Administrator will include Medtech support and onsite Training to these services.

Jessie Kupa - PHO AdministratorJessie Kupa
Jessie has been employed by TTTPHO since December 2006 as Personal Assistant to the CEO. In addition she provides expert administrative and emotional support  to all other staff to ensure the smooth functioning of the Organisation.
In this role Jessie often provides the  first contact with the public and her responsibilites include general reception duties, accounts support & assistance with staff issues.

Annette Robertson – Co-ordinator Workforce Development Annette Robertson
Annette is a Registered Nurse with a Certificate in Adult Education, Auditors Qualification - ISO Standards and NZQA Certified Assessor who has significant clinical and senior management experience within the Private, Primary and Secondary Healthcare Sectors.
Annette has a strong interest in PHO lead initiatives that empower communities and deliver on the Treaty principals of partnership and participation. Her current position is supported through a Ministry of Social Development - Enterprising Communities initiative and the Northland DHB. The focus of the role is to train Kai Awhina in Northland communities to NZQA Levels 2 & 3 Certificate in Community Support Services, and to mentor successful participants into sustainable employment within health services specific to population need.

Marilyn Dyer- Clinical & Workforce Support Coordinator Marilyn Dyer
Marilyn Dyer is a registered Nurse with a BHsc (nursing ) and a Post graduate Diploma in Health Sciences – Advanced Nursing. Her role is as a Clinical and Workforce Support Coordinator for Te Tai Tokerau PHO. A key aspect of Marilyn’s role is as a preceptor and mentor for RNs new to practice nursing and in the future supporting new nursing graduates into Primary Health Care. Marilyn is also available as a Practice Nurse locum across the PHO, especially for nurses who are involved in postgraduate study and training to enable them to meet requirements. Marilyn is also leading a quality improvement project which focuses on longterm respiratory conditions, developing an accurate register and auditing management against best practice guidelines. She is trained Quit Card provider and is available to provide smoking cessation support for patients ready to quit. Adult Education, Auditors Qualification - ISO Standards and NZQA Certified Assessor who has significant clinical and senior management experience within the Private, Primary and Secondary Healthcare Sectors.
