For referrers
All referrals go to Manaia PHO as the ‘hub’, and are usually processed within two to three days.
After that, a community health worker / kaimahi from one of the seven Whanau Ora providers across Northland will contact the family, visit them in their home, and complete a comprehensive housing assessment. This will identify what housing interventions can be provided to make the home warmer and drier.
